Valerian is situated just a ten minute walk from Padstow's delightful harbour, restaurants, shops and inns. It is a charming cottage-style two bedroom property for four people, and has been awarded a VisitBritain Quality in Tourism Rating of FOUR STAR The property has been decorated, equipped and furnished to a high standard, it has a soothing colour scheme ideal for perfect relaxation. Off the entrance hall is the light and airy kitchen with its smart white units, washing machine, fridge, freezer, built in electric oven, microwave and gas hob. Also off the hall is the downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand wash basin. Leading off the hall is the delightful lounge with feature fireplace and flame effect gas fire. A comfy sofa and armchairs, TV with freeview, video player, video recorder, DVD/MP3/CD player, digital radio, CD player and a selection of CDs, videos, books and games combine to provide the perfect place to relax. To the rear of the cottage is the conservatory, used as a dining area, which provides a lovely setting for home cooked meals. Beyond the conservatory is the patio garden, this catches the late afternoon and evening sun and is the ideal place for barbecues on balmy summer evenings, barbeque provided. Plant containers complete the setting with splashes of colour. Upstairs are two beautifully presented bedrooms, one double with countryside and distant sea views and one twin, plenty of storage is provided in both rooms. New luxury bathroom for April 2009. Includes full size bath with shower over and heated towel rail. There is full gas radiator central heating for cosy winter breaks which completes the excellent facilities. To the front of the cottage is your own private parking space which in Padstow is a blessing! There is additional visitor parking at the rear. Valerian is ideally located for enjoying all that Padstow has to offer with the accommodation providing everything you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Pillows, pillow protectors, duvets and mattress protectors are provided. Freshly pressed bed linen (beds will be made ready for your arrival) and towels (one bath towel and one hand towel per person, one hand towel and bath mat in bathroom, one hand and two tea towels in kitchen) are also included in the tariff. In the case of two or more week bookings clean linen will be delivered to you on your changeover day at 10 am at the end of each week. Place all your dirty linen in a black bag, this will be collected when your clean linen is delivered. Beds will not be remade for you. One dog is allowed downstairs.
