It is a superb cottage style property for four people and has been awarded a VisitBritain Quality in Tourism Rating of FOUR STAR.

The cottage has been equipped to the highest standard with brand new furnishings, appliances and full gas radiator central heating throughout. It has been furnished in restful, rich warm chestnut and beech tones with a contemporary edge.

Mayfields Cottage is next door to our Archie's Place and Sunflower this would enable up to three bookings to holiday next to each other but in separate cottages.

The ground floor accommodation is open plan with a light and airy atmosphere.

The spacious lounge area has two large comfy sofas, wide screen TV, DVD/video player, a selection of DVDs, books and games, the ideal place for perfect relaxation. The kitchen area is equipped to a high specification in a modern design style, included are washer/dryer, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric fan oven & microwave and down lighters complete the setting.

The dining area with its smart beech table and chairs provide the ideal setting for home cooked meals.

Also on the ground floor is the added bonus of a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.

To the rear of the cottage is the patio garden with table and chairs for outdoor dining and a selection of colourful plant containers.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. The double bedroom is to the rear and has a sleigh bed, flat scren wall mounted TV and lovely countryside views towards the beautiful Camel Estuary. The sunny twin bedroom is to the front of the cottage. Both rooms have plenty of storage.

The stunning bathroom has white suite, full size bath with shower over, heated towel rail, shaving point, beech flooring and down lighters.

Mayfields Cottage is the ideal base to explore North Cornwall, with Padstow and Wadebridge literally on your doorstep. St. Issey is a pretty village with the local pub and restaurant being a 'very' short walking distance away!

Pillows, pillow protectors, duvets and mattress protectors are provided.

Freshly pressed bed linen (beds will be made ready for your arrival) and towels (one bath towel and one hand towel per person, one hand towel and bath mat in bathroom, one hand and two tea towels in kitchen) are also included in the tariff.

In the case of two or more week bookings clean linen will be delivered to you on your changeover day at 10 am at the end of each week. Place all your dirty linen in a black bag, this will be collected when your clean linen is delivered. Beds will not be remade for you.

Parking: Your own garage is next to the cottage.

Please note: You must park your car in Mayfields Cottage garage. The area between Mayfields Cottage garage and neighbouring cottage garages is for turning only. If your car is too large to go in the garage (or your party has two cars) parking is available in the Church Car Park for a small donation fee (it is within 50 metres of Mayfields Cottage) location instructions will be given on your Balance Confirmation email.
